A superb trek through the best of Langtang and Helambu region
This magnificent trek provides a huge variety of culture and scenery as we ascend the Langtang Valley. Staying in small villages along the trial is a real highlight, allowing us an insight into Tibetan, Tamang and Sherpa communities. The trek follows an old trade route and up through forests of hemlock and larch to massive glacial valleys complete with crystal lakes, alpine meadows, herds of yaks, and monasteries. Crossing Laurebina Pass, you enter the lovely Sherpa region of Helambu, trekking all the way to the Kathmandu Valley.

Day 1 Arrive Kathmandu
Day 2 In Kathmandu, sightseeing Kathmandu Valley
Day 3 Drive to Syabrubesi (1,420m)
Day 4/6 Trek through forests to Langtang Village (3,500m) and Kyanjin Gompa (3,800m)
Day 7 Exploring the Upper Langtang Valley including ascents of TsergoRi (4,984m), KyanginRi (4,773m), and KyimashungRi (4,565m)
Day 8/11 Return to Lama Hotel (2,380m) and ascend to GosainKunda Lake (4,380m) through pretty alpine settlements
Day 12 Cross Laurebina Pass (4,610m) to enter Helambu Valley
Day 13/15 Follow popular trail through Sherpa and Hindu villages to Kathmandu
Day 16 End trek at Sundarijal (1,350m) and short drive to Kathmandu
